    You need a Doug account. Start free. A new account starts its 7-day trial when you click Allow.

    Claude Code

    1. Run this command.
    2. Run /mcp in Claude Code and sign in to Doug.

    1. Run these commands.
    2. Sign in to Doug in the browser window that opens.

    1. Click Add to Cursor.
    2. In Cursor's MCP settings, click Connect next to Doug and sign in.

    2. Click Add custom connector and paste the address above.
    3. Sign in to Doug and click Allow.

    ChatGPT

    1. Open Settings, then Apps & Connectors, and turn on developer mode.
    2. Create a connector, paste the address above, and choose OAuth.
    3. Sign in to Doug and click Allow.

    Grok, Muse, and other MCP apps

    1. Add a custom connector with the address above and sign in to Doug.
    2. If the app has no sign-in, create a token in Doug under Settings, then AI apps. Send it as a Bearer token.

    Details for developers

    • Transport: streamable HTTP.
    • Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE. Discovery starts at the 401 from the server.
    • Tokens: a personal token from Settings, then AI apps, sent as a Bearer token.
    • REST: the same tools at app.doug.so/api/manage/v1, described at https://app.doug.so/api/manage/v1/openapi.json.
    • Claude's directory listing uses the core tools. Doug in Claude lists them.

    Permissions

    • Your AI acts as you, in your workspace, with your role's permissions.
    • Without Let it make changes, your AI can only read. With it, it can also reply, book, and edit Doug.
    • To disconnect, open Settings, then AI apps in Doug, and click Disconnect.
