Doug in Claude

    Run Doug from Claude.

    Doug is the AI agent that answers your website visitors, captures leads, and books jobs. Connect him to Claude and manage all of it by asking.

    Connect Doug

    You need a Doug account. A new account starts its free 7-day trial when you click Allow.

    1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
    2. Find Doug and click Connect. To add it by hand, click Add custom connector and paste the address below.
    3. Sign in to Doug.
    4. To let Claude reply, book, and edit Doug, tick Let it make changes. Then click Allow.

    What to ask

    • "Show me today's new leads."
    • "Reply to the last customer who asked about pricing."
    • "Book a furnace tune-up for Sam on Friday at 10am."
    • "Teach Doug our new holiday hours."
    • "How many chats did Doug answer this week?"
    • "What questions couldn't Doug answer, and what should he say?"

    Permissions

    • Sign-in uses OAuth. Claude never sees your Doug password.
    • Without Let it make changes, Claude can look at your inbox, leads, bookings, knowledge, and reports, but it cannot change anything.
    • With it, Claude can also reply, book, and edit Doug. Tools that reach a customer or cannot be undone are marked, so Claude asks you before it uses them.
    • Claude sees only your workspace, and only what your role in it allows. A view-only teammate can only connect to read.
    • To disconnect, open Settings, then AI apps in Doug, and click Disconnect. You can also remove Doug in Claude's Connectors settings.

    Tools

    The connector has 40 tools. Tools that send a message, email someone, or change a booking are marked as such. test_doug and run_visibility_check need a paid plan.
